JLINC Your Data
EnterpriseAI is quickly moving beyond a single agent performing a single task. The next generation of agentic systems will involve networks of specialized agents that discover one another, share context, delegate work and coordinate actions dynamically. These agentic swarms promise dramatically greater autonomy and capability — but they also create a fundamentally different trust problem.
Identity alone isn't enough in this environment. Knowing which agent is participating does not tell you who authorized it, what authority it possesses, what authority it can delegate, what information it may access, or what another agent is permitted to do withinformation it receives. As a workflow passes from agent to agent, enterprises need a way to preserve authority, policy, provenance and accountability across the entire chain.
JLINC creates the trust infrastructure between those agents. Verifiable Contractual Agreements establish the terms governing each relationship, while cryptographic evidence creates a verifiable history as authority, data and actions move through the swarm. This allows autonomy to expand without accountability disappearing — creating a foundation for multi-agent systems enterprises can actually trust.
A VCA can establish the relationship between two agents before or as they interact — defining agent identity, delegated authority, permitted actions, permitted data access, purpose, policies, obligations and evidence requirements.
JLINC can preserve evidence of delegated authority as tasks move through a swarm. By managing the relationships between agents rather than the agents themselves, we can tell who originally authorized the activity, what authority was granted, what could be delegated, and which agent ultimately took action.
As data is retrieved, transformed, interpreted and acted upon by different agents, JLINC creates cryptographic evidence across those interactions. This establishes the origin of information, which agents accessed it, how it moved, what relationships governed its use and how the outcome connects back to original authority.
Identity tells you who an agent is. Trust tells you what it can do. A VCA connects identity with authority, permissions, policies and purpose. Cryptographic evidence connects those terms with what actually happened.
Agentic swarms will be built from many different technologies — enterprise data, applications, APIs, models, agent frameworks and autonomous endpoints. JLINC is designed to work across that heterogeneous environment, adding trust at the points where those systems interact rather than requiring organizations to replace or redesign the infrastructure they already have.
Through the JLINC API, virtually any endpoint can participate in a verifiable relationship. A data source can establish the terms under which agents access its information. An applicationcan verify the authority an agent carries before allowing it to act. Agents can establish trusted relationships with other agents as work, context and authority move dynamically through the swarm.
JLINC makes it possible to quickly addthe capabilities those relationships require:
Because JLINC operates as a lightweight trust layer, organizations can start with a single relationship or workflow and expand as their agentic environment grows. The same infrastructure can governagent-to-data, agent-to-application and agent-to-agent relationships — creating a common trust architecture across an increasingly complex swarm.
Your swarm can be dynamic. Your trust layer shouldn't be.
