In the EU, the GDPR now requires all entities that interact with EU citizens to provide them with control over their personal data. Companies that fail to comply face fines up to 4% of global revenue.

EU citizens now have a new set of rights under the GDPR:

Then when that person changes any of their data, the new information is pushed directly to the companies who have a relationship with them on JLINC. 

With JLINC people set their own permission preferences and share their data with very little friction, rather than constantly being pestered to provide different marketing consents by each company under their terms.
